School Stationery and Uniform Checklist
Start with a Grade 1 and Grade 8 example. Make a list for each child, tick what you already have and record what you paid if you want to.
General guide only. Follow your own school’s list. Check book sizes, quantities, uniform designs and approved equipment before buying. Prices are left blank for you to enter.
This is an example. Change it to your own details, or tap “Clear plan” to start from scratch.
Your plan is saved on this device only. Anyone with a share link can see the plan, so send it only to people who need it.
Where the starter categories come from
School examples show possible categories, not requirements for your child. DBE defines Foundation as R–3, Intermediate as 4–6, Senior as 7–9 and FET as 10–12. Checked 17 October 2026.
How it works
Choose a child to edit their name and grade. Add another child for a separate list. The starter categories change by phase; all quantities start at an editable one unit or pack, not a prescribed school quantity.
Tick items you have, remove things you do not need and add your own. Under Paid, enter the line total for all units together. Unticked items can have a payment recorded too. Blank amounts stay blank on the printed list.
Print plan puts each child on a separate A4 page. To use it on another phone, copy a share link and open it there. For spare uniforms, try the uniform sale list.
Questions
Is this my school’s stationery or uniform list?
No. These are editable general categories, adapted from official school examples. Follow your own school’s current list for items, book sizes, quantities, colours, uniform designs and approved equipment. Grade R and subject choices can have different requirements.
Does the checklist include prices?
No prices are supplied. Enter the total you paid for each line, for all its units together. Blank amounts are not counted, zero is allowed, and invalid amounts are flagged. The total is what you have recorded, not an estimate of everything you still need.
What happens when I change a grade?
Your existing items, ticks and amounts stay in place. Use Add phase suggestions to add missing categories for the new grade, then remove anything your school does not need. It will not replace your edits or change quantities.
Can I print a separate page for each child?
Yes. Print plan makes one A4 portrait checklist per child, with ticks, quantities and any amounts you entered. Each child can have up to 32 lines so the compact print layout stays readable. You can keep up to six children in a plan.
Where is my plan saved?
On this device only. If you copy a share link, anyone with it can see the list, so use nicknames if you prefer. A shared link is a copy: later changes don’t update it.
